Apple officially unveiled its 2018 flagship phones today: the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs and 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max. The phones have a new redesigned Apple 12 Bionic CPU and GPU, exclusive to iPhone XS and XS Max.
The iPhone Xs features a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display at 2,436 x 1,125 resolution with 2.7 million pixels and 458 pixels per inch. The iPhone Xs Max, on the other hand, features a 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display at 2,688 x 1,242 resolution with 3.3 million pixels (but still 458 ppi).
Apple said that its Face ID system now works faster than before, and is still unveiling other features.
The biggest spec upgrade on the iPhone Xs is the new A12 Bionic chip, the industry’s first 7nm chip with 6.9 billion transistors.with two high-performance cores that are 15 percent faster and 40 percent lower power than the A11.
iPhone Xs starts at $999, iPhone Xs Max starts at $1099. 64GB, 256GB, 512GB.
